Imagine stepping into a world where neon lights buzzed, music pulsed through the air, and the energy was always electric. That was Pufferbellies, the iconic nightclub that captured the heart and soul of Cape Cod’s nightlife when it opened in Hyannis in 1981.
Pufferbellies was a massive 12,500-square-foot brick roundhouse, that could hold up to 1,500 partygoers, all crammed together for unforgettable nights of dancing, live performances, and memories that still live on today.
After the nightclub closed in 2015, the property was acquired by Hy-Line Cruises and repurposed as off-site parking for ferry passengers traveling to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.
